We started small, attending local events that welcomed new vendors, and quickly, the enchanting aroma and unique flavors of Sugar Hi cotton candy captured hearts and built a devoted following. This organic growth soon opened doors to larger opportunities, including the vibrant Gilbert Food Truck events and the bustling Gilbert Farmers Market. Our reach expanded across Phoenix, participating in several farmers markets, delighting attendees at school events, and adding a unique spin to countless private parties. We've always believed in sharing the sweetness, which is why giving out samples has been a core part of our approach – ensuring every child had an opportunity to try our amazing treats.
Then came a pause. During the challenging times of COVID, we temporarily shut down. Yet, the requests for our beloved cotton candy kept coming, a testament to the joy and comfort it brought. This period of reflection deepened our understanding of the power of sweetness – not just as a treat, but as a vessel for happiness.
It was through our connections, particularly when donating to underprivileged children to add joy to their holidays, that a new, profound purpose for Sugar Hi emerged. Speaking with dedicated teachers, we became acutely aware of the unmet needs within our public classrooms. This revelation sparked a new mission: to leverage Sugar Hi Gourmet for the greater good of education. We proudly founded the Joyful Learning Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising crucial funds. Our ambitious goal is to pay for every public school teacher's wish list, ensuring they have the resources they need to inspire young minds. We also work directly with school PTAs to help raise thousands of dollars for schools.
But our vision doesn't stop there. We also aspire to provide the resources for kids to attend events and competitions around the country. We firmly believe that no child should miss out on their greatness because of money.
